I love the rain.
There's something so soothing about it.
I love closing my eyes, and listening to the individual drops, and feeling them fall on my face.
It rains a lot in Florida, most aren't as excited about it as I am. Growing up in Las Vegas, we don't get to see a lot of rain.
I love thinking about the rain. It's so dark and dreary, but I find rain somehow healing.
It really makes me think about trials we go through in life, they are dark and definitely dreary, but we always find at the end of our trying time, that we've grown; that they've made us who we are.

Have you ever heard the song by Laura Story, 'Blessings'?
I have to admit, it's one of my favorites. During the song she says, "What if our blessings come through raindrops, what if our healing comes through tears, what if a million sleepless nights are what it takes to know your near; what if trials of this life, are His mercies in disguise."
One of my FAVORITE videos, talks about how the mountains in our lives, brings us closer to our Lord and Savior.
When you look at the rain, think of harships in your life that have made you who you are. You might just find, that they were really blessings in disguise.
